That said, on this and every trip I've been fortunate enough to take outside the US, after tasting as many local beers as I could, I ordered Belgian beer. So there's my vote for country with the best beer. But Chicago's Goose Island IPA and Michigan's Bell's Two Hearted make a deliciously strong case for the US.
