Caffrey's Irish Ale
Ok, so a bit off topic - but does anyone know what happened to Caffrey's? Used to be my favorite brew and is now available...nowhere, as far as i can tell. Did they go kaput? Should i just, y'know...Google it?
Ah... pivo, cerveza, öl or just plain old beer - it just can't be beat!
Exciting news - the Beers of the World group just admitted it's 100th member - great to see such enthusiasm for travel and beer!
Welcome to the group and, of course - Cheers!

jsu7777 Saw Caffreys in an irish bar in Valencia not long back -or at least they had a working pump! :-)
vivekw Thanks for the tips! I obviously need to scour the Irish pubs and bottle shops in Australia.
vivekw Oh, and lou_wurm: describing an Irish beer as "British" might raise a few hackles! :)
lou_wurm should've said, English and Irish! Didn't see any Scottish drinks on that list...
love a bit of warm pale ale in the english summer (i.e. wet)
timshaw I love this beer. I have a pint (or 2) of caffrey's in an Irish pub in Puerto Pollenca, Mallorca every time i'm out there. So you could try there?its a bit of a treck from the UK for a pint! but as good a reason to go as any!
chocol8 Also a fav of mine Vivek. There used to be a few places in Melbourne that had it but Kilkenny's seems to have taken it's place everywhere. You can buy it online from here;
