Lonely Planet review
Set in a colourful walled garden, this rose-pink 1930s villa exudes old-world charm, its wood-panelled rooms featuring stucco ceilings, lilac walls, mahogany armoires and huge beds. Don’t expect luxury – it’s all slightly faded – but owner Antonios and his cats provide a homely welcome, the bathrooms are spotless, the library extensive and the sparkling swimming pool is irresistible.
Our independent authors have visited Villa Melina and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Pothia.
