Whether you're just coming for a cool waterside coffee or seek some inventive international fare, this lofty, sumptuously decorated café-restaurant on the port is fab. The salads and risotto are as bright as the flames in the open kitchen where the chefs, like the style-conscious clientele, are always on display.

    Good place to eat, or chill out

    Kitchen Bar is a spacious, modern cafe-restaurant at the centre of Thessaloniki. It offers great views of the city, and when the weather is good, one can also sit at the outside terrace. The food is a bit pricey, and the service can sometimes be a little slow; however, most dishes are tasty, and the food is prepared at the open kitchen with good, fresh ingredients. Also , most of the cakes are delicious! It's a place I'd definitely recommend for someone visiting Thessaloniki.
