Hi,

Could anyone suggest any taxi/private care agency in Litochoro? I'm looking for pick up from Litochoro railway station and drop in a hotel near the Mt. Olympus National Park. Then the following day pick up from the hotel to Prionia cafe (base of Mt. Olympus hiking/trekking). A couple of days later pick up from Prionia cafe to Thessaloniki airport with a brief stopover at the hotel (for about 10 minutes).

Thanks.

Hello everyone,

My fiance and I are investigating eloping in Greece in June. We'll be booking a local wedding planner to handle details and assist with legal requirements. But before deciding on one we would love to know any recommendations for sites to elope. We're ideally looking for somewhere scenically beautiful - rocky, rustic, or town rather than sandy beach. We'll be spending at least a week, hopefully two in Greece so somewhere that would be nice to travel around on a honeymoon…

Hi! From 21 april till 4 may we are in de Pelopnnissos (family with two young kids).
We don't have a route but we want two different (or three?) locations using as a base, were we can stay one week each. We will rent a car. So we are flexible.

Amenities:
A place were we can cook
Pool or/and near by the beach
not too expensieve (around 350 euro/370 dollar for one week)
child friendly (very important ;)

I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi all!

My boyfriend and I are currently English teachers in the Czech Republic. Before returning stateside, we want to do a 10 day vacation in Greece! We currently do long distance (we are on opposite ends of the CZ), so it'll be much needed time together in the sun and having fun. We both are very well traveled but have never been to Greece before.

Our current plan is to fly out of Vienna on July 3rd night, with our flight arriving in Athens at 12.30 AM on the 4th. We then plan on flying…

Hi there,

I will be traveling to Rhodes for a few days in the coming months. Any idea what I should prioritize when it comes to things to visit?

Thanks

I am a woman traveling solo (mid-thirties), looking to travel to Greece in June. My main interests are relaxing and possibly doing some writing for a project while I’m there. I would love to visit Mykonos and Santorini, but as I’m traveling by myself I won’t be doing a lot of nightlife (like clubbing til all hours), so maybe those aren’t the best choices?

I would like to find somewhere populated so I feel not too alone, but with accommodations where I can sit and write peacefully some days…

Hi,

Are there recommended 5 or 4 star hotels for the month of May for Athens and Crete?

For Crete, should we stay in Chania Town or Elounda, Crete?

Thanks!

Hey everyone, kind of in a pickle, heard a lot about cruises in Greece,Turkey and Istanbul. However, with me being a noob to all this, would love it if could someone could throw some light on cruises for Greece.
-I have heard there are cruises that go around Greece and all the way to Turkey too, is that a good option?
- Which cruise liner and route is best for scenic views.
- Does it make more sense to take a hop on-hop off cruise around Greece or rather take speed boats on various destinations.
-…

Hi. I wonder if anyone could recommend somewhere in Greece for a short trip over (UK) Easter, based on the info below.

I lived in Greece full-time for 12 years, but was 'stuck' (lucky me!!) in Crete for work and apart from Athens got to visit other places all too rarely.

I am not a beach person.. looking for a town (mainland or island) 'with history' where I can immerse myself in local culture (and retsina!). I speak pretty good Greek, so am very happy (prefer in fact) to be well off the…
