Lonely Planet review for Harmony
Few places take chill-out to the honed level of this great bar. Hammocks, deckchairs and discerning sounds set the pace and kids are well looked after here. It's just along the northern arm of Mylopotas beach. There's live music too, and Tex-Mex food is the main attraction.

A Mexican resturant on the main beach of Ios might seem a little out of place, but this little hacienda is an absolute gem. To be honest the actual food they serve here is almost incidental. Seemingly carved out of the rock face itself on the north side of the beach, the stunning views that arrive as night falls are enough to soften the heart of even the most jaded traveller. The young and charming staff, who are mostly comprised of backpackers themselves, are welcoming and friendly. The fantastic live music that changes every night is the perfect accompinament to the relaxed vibe that the place gives off. There are hammocks, love seats and all manner of comfortable tables to spread yourself out across. And there is a seemingly endless supply of Sangria jugs and cheap Mexican beer to ensure your night out will be (perhaps hazily) memorable.
We loved this place so much we came back three times!
