Morosini Fountain information
Also known as Lion Fountain, this is the most beloved among the Venetian vestiges around town. On Plateia Venizelou, it spurts water from four lions into eight sinuous marble troughs. The centrepiece marble statue of Poseidon was destroyed under the Turks.
