Lonely Planet review for Palia Taverna Tou Psara
One of the older and well-regarded tavernas in Plaka, known for its seafood mezedhes, this atmospheric place in a renovated 1898 house has pleasant shaded courtyard and tables on the charming Plaka street.

VERY DISAPOINTING
luisgarciavlc does not recommend this,
After reading Lonely Planet review, we expected the "best seafood tarvern in Plaka". And a none turist place, something local.
FAR away from what we found. It is true that the location of the restaurant is nice, and at least is not in the main tourist area, but we found a huge restaurant with capacity for 200 tables (in different rooms and locations) and FOOD WAS HORRIBLE and COLD!
I order the special of the day that was run out (it was only 9.30 PM) and my partenr an stuffed calamary. They served us in less than 2 minutes (obviously they were pre-cooked) and COLD. I must say, the food was hot outside and cold in side. Therefore, microwaved!!!
I expect much more for a restuarant that is recommended on the Lonely Planet!
