Welcome to the UK, described by Lonely Planet in the latest UK guide as "simply one of the most beautiful islands on earth". You'll find that whilst people can appear flippant and/or sarcastic on this branch, it's only part of the unique British sense of humour so don't take it personally.

I'm planning on driving around Scotland in September and would like to remain flexible so would not prefer to set up firm reservations schedule beforehand. Is there a resource to make reservations in budget type hotels as I go or at least a good list anywhere? I've heard that it's not too booked up then. I would prefer budget hotels and spend on food (and of course gas) instead. Any general advice about this?
Sorry if this has been asked a million time, I searched but didn't find anything useful.
I will be in Dublin from Saturday to the following Friday. Monday to Friday for work, the weekend I have to pay my own way. It seems like the Leap Visitor Card would be the cheapest option, but to be refunded by my employer I have to have a receipt. If I buy the Visitor Card at the Tourist Information (Visit Ireland, I think it was called) at the airport then I assume I will get some sort of…

Pls advice if it would be possible with a Type C (Single Entry) Visa? If not what is the alternative
My sister from South Africa is here and wants to spend a day with me. She has seen many of the tourist sights in London - suggestions please as to what to do in London, and perhaps a reasonable interesting place to eat?
Hi guys! Any Ozzie citizens on here that can help me with UK entry query from personal experience? This year has me travelling in and out of London 3 separate times in a 7 month period but all for short stays (WAY less than 90 days) and now Im worried as hell that as they dont fall within one set of 180 visa free days that I wont be able to enter the 3rd time? Anyone know how short trips work with the whole 180 days in/180 days out vibe? :/ Any help would be epic x (And yeah I have tried…
I plan on moving to Glasgow in April 2017 for two years, the plan is to go over on a "Youth Mobility Visa 5". I'm going to stay in an Airbnb for the first month as I figured that would be the best way to get to know what area to live in and to also get a job. Does anyone have any tips/advice on working/living in Glasgow? Is it easy to get a job? I only plan on casual/shift style work as i want to be able to spend time going on mini trips around Scotland. I would hate to have to come home after…
I am from Australia and planning on travelling the UK for around 6 months.
Can anyone recommend a good travel money card for me to use? One that doesn't hit you up with too many fees.
Thanks so much
