Does anyone know what paper work is required, how much it costs and whether having diplomatic number plates makes a difference?
we are looking for a long term parking (6 months or so, not sure yet) - if possible in Accra or somewhere close. Could anyone advise any reliable person/place/suggestion that could help us?
I have just accepted a job to move to Accra (from the US) and have been searching for info on the internet for days. I have not found much recent, reliable-sounding info about so many things, so here I am. I even contacted the US Embassy but got an automated email which did not answer not even one of my questions. So if you have any advice about housing (price ranges, safe neighborhoods for a single woman, etc), car (bring from US or buy locally), what to bring to Accra (or not), etc…

On average, how much do you spend on housing and accomodations in Ghana? Do you have any recommendations about where I can find reliable and secure housing in Ghana?
