Priesterhäuser Zwickau
The Priesterhäuser Zwickau give a close-up look at medieval living conditions. These pint-sized cottages were built between the 13th and 15th centuries and rank among the country's oldest surviving residential buildings. The creaky stairs, small chambers, dingy kitchen and soot-stained walls are perfect for all manner of spooky pranks. Claustrophobia awaits.

Robert-Schumann-Haus
Behind Hauptmarkt is Robert-Schumann-Haus, where the renowned composer of the Romantic Age was born and spent the first seven years of his life. Exhibits trace the various life stations of a man who developed serious bipolar disorder in his 30s, and died young in Bonn. A highlight is the piano played by Schumann's wife Clara Wieck, herself a noted pianist.
