The soft lighting, ambient sounds and lush interior (including padded pods for noshing in recline) make this a relaxing place to dine. There's lots of choice for noncarnivores and prices are sensible.

    Escape to Sol Y Mar

    I really hadn't given the idea of eating like a sultan much thought, until I went to Sol Y Mar. I spent an entire afternoon just reclining and chatting to a friend recently....oh, and eating and drinking exotic things. Yes, you read right.........I said reclining. They have big mattresses instead of chairs and booths. Then there are kind of "breakfast in bed trays"...or tables with very short legs that sit on the mattresses to eat from. The food was very tasty (with lots of healthy choices) and not expensive. I was surprised to see the prices with such a unique atmosphere. It's definately a chilled place to go and relax...perfect for a Sunday after a good Saturday night out....or after a hard days shopping. If you must have a table and chairs, they have those too ;-)
