Public transport

An extensive network of U-Bahn trains, trams and buses operates throughout Düsseldorf. Most trips within the city cost €2, longer trips to the suburbs are €3.80. Day passes are €4.70/8.90. Tickets are available from bus drivers and orange vending machines at U-Bahn stops, and must be validated upon boarding.
