Lonely Planet review

The Praetorium has relics of a Roman governor’s palace below the Altes Rathaus. It will be part of the much larger subterranean archaeological area that will include the new Jewish Museum. Visitors will be able to get close-ups of remnants, ruins and foundations of both Roman Cologne. There have been many delays to the project but some form of access to the ruins has been maintained throughout.
