Wiesbaden

Getting there & around

S-Bahn trains leave every 20 minutes from Frankfurt’s Hauptbahnhof (€6.25, 45 minutes). The S8 runs via Frankfurt airport.

Passenger boats on CologneMainz routes stop at Wiesbaden, as do cruises to and from Frankfurt and other local destinations.

Wiesbaden is connected to Frankfurt by the A66 Autobahn and is just off the A3, which leads to the Ruhr region.

City buses cost €1.95 for a single ticket or €4.50 for a day pass. There’s parking near the Rhein-Main-Halle and a Park & Ride on Berlinerstrasse about 2km east of the Hauptbahnhof. The train station is a major hub for buses; buy tickets from the machines.
