   Wiesbaden’s art museum specialises in painting, sculpture and installations, including works by the old masters, 20th-century American minimalists and the Russian expressionist Alexei Jawlensky (1864–1941), who lived in Wiesbaden for the last 20 years of his life. The natural sciences section is set to reopen in 2013. In the hall to the left of the reception desk, look up to see a dazzling gilded mosaic dating from just before WWI.
