Traditional and incredibly elegant, Fischereihafen serves some of Hamburg's finest fish, including regional specialities, to a mature, well-heeled clientele. Its 1st-floor, subtly maritime-themed dining room overlooks the Elbe.

    great fish

    Situated beside the Elbe river, in the heart of the Hamburg harbour with its rough charme. The sphere is noble, from the doorman that greets you, to the waiters. It is necessary to reserve a table in advance, if you can, ask for one at the window overviewing the water. Food is great, service is great, prices are accordingly on the high side. I like to take the menu of the day, which is a good relationship between value and price. And it normally includes some local fish specialty, e.g. smoked eel soup (tastes much better than it sounds). Treat youself to some good wine to make it a complete experience!
