Fussen

We are planning a day trip to Fussen from Munich on Oct 10, traveling by car.
Any advice will be appreciated.
We are looking to tour at least one of the castles, would love to get in a nice 3-5 mile hike.
Would love to do more but don't know how much time castle tours and the museum would require. Need to be back in Munich by 8:30PM. Would we need to reserve tour tickets at this time of year?

Looking for a great and not too expensive Berlin tour that would include some historical Berlin Wall sights. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi fellow travelers!
Solo female backpacker here. My flight from Venice to Abu Dhabi will have an eight-hour layover in Dusseldorf. It will be my first time to see Germany even only for 8 hours and I was wondering if it would be possible for me to have a day trip to Dusseldorf and still make it back to the airport in time for my flight. Any suggestions? I'd really appreciate them.

Hello, I'm from Mexico and have a couple of free days to visit the Oktoberfest for the first time. I have all information regarding the event, the tents, schedules etc. but have heard it gets really crowded so I was hoping someone could enlighten me with more info about how it is. I know Sunday (Sep 25th) will be a very busy day and will try to be there as early as possible (8 A.M.). Lets say I got inside a certain tent very early and after 3 hours I want to move for another tent, will it be…

If our work schedules allow it, my wife and I may make our first-ever trip to Germany in early-to-mid December. We of course realize that Germany is a vast, diverse country, and so we would only attempt to visit perhaps one fourth of the country this time, with hopes of returning in the future. One region we would likely include in our trip is Franconia, on the theory that it is more-or-less equally enjoyable in cold or warm weather, as its main attractions are cities and towns, and as its…
