Hi! I'm planning a Europe trip next year, and while working on our German leg, I can't quite decide if we should visit Bremen or Dresden.
We will be spending around about 2 days there and will be travelling through from Amsterdam > Berlin > Prague. We would either fit Bremen in before Berlin or Dresden after Berlin.
I have been to Germany before so I've seen a lot of other cities so I’m not really looking for any other options. (I would skip Berlin entirely and just go to both but I'm travelling…

Hi guys. I'm a 24 year old male from Ireland, who is considering making the big move to Berlin next year. I'm moving there as I'm a huge fan of electronic music - and Berlin is a vibrant scene for that indeed - and also I think the alternative vibe in the city may suit my personality.

HOWEVER... one cannot ignore practicalities. I have an M.A. degree in International Relations, and I'm currently working in the NGO sector. By the time I move to Berlin (early 2017) I will have one solid…

Hello! We are two single US women in our late 30's traveling to Munich to Oktoberfest this September, and have a few days following the festival to spend in Germany. We have Monday, 9/19 through the morning of Friday 9/23 free. While we are flying into Munich, we will be departing Frankfurt and will likely take the trains as our primary mode of transportation.

My request: we are new to Germany and are looking for recommendations on how to spend 3-4 days between Munich and Frankfurt. (Please…

Rhine Valley, Moselle Valley, Ahr Valley: they're pretty familiar, often asked about on the Forum (and there's a reason for it) and ... crowded. But in the area, south of Cologne and east of Bonn there's a less wellknown (and therefore? very quiet) magnificent valley, the Siegtal.
The magnificent landscape formed by small rolling hills is very interesting for them who love cycling, hiking and canoeing. Even a swim is possible at some places and the Allner See (Lake) near Hennef.
Cycling along the…

Hi,
We're a group of 4 coming to Oktoberfest from the USA and are looking to share reservations in one of the beer tents on either Sept 17, 18, or 19. The problem is that most places have a 10 person minimum.
We can book a place, like Ochsenbraterei, which still has seats available to reserve for Monday the 19th, and then you can reimburse us for however many people you are,
OR
If you have booked a reservation for any of those dates and have bought more tickets than you will end up using, please…

Every year I reserve some tables at the Oktoberfest in Munich and this year there are a few seats remaining:

-Two seats left for Schottenhamel. Thur Sept 22 at 15.15-18.15.
-One seat for Marstall Friday Sept 23 at 15.00-18.00 .
- For Saturday sept 24 Armbrustschuetzen 10-16 currently full but will be some cancellations probably.

Let me know by private message if interested

Prices will be face value, you basically pay for a certain amount of beer and food, approx 40 euro per session
