Maxim Gorki Theater information
Since the 2013/14 season, new artistic director Shermin Langhoff has made the smallest of Berlin's four state-funded theatres the dedicated home of the so-called 'post-migrant theatre'. Productions look at the lives of second- and third-generation Germans and examine such issues as integration, identity, transition and discrimination. All performances have English surtitles.
