Regensburg has direct train links to Frankfurt-am-Main (€56, three hours), Munich (€21, 1½ hours), Nuremberg (€15.50, 1½ hours) and Passau (€22, one hour).

Regensburg is about an hour’s drive southeast of Nuremberg and northwest of Passau via the A3 autobahn. The A9 runs south to Munich.
