Attention food-lovers!
aimbug recommends this,
The Markthalle is a welcome break from the bustle of the Königstrasse, and even if you aren't going there with the intention of shopping, you'll find it hard to resist the fresh regional specialties on offer. If you have a train trip in your near future, stock up on Landjäger, a semi-dry sausage snack popular with Germans while hiking, fresh or dried fruit, or baked goods like Bretzeln (German soft pretzels). It's also a wonderful place to familiarize yourself with different traditional dishes like Maultaschen (Swabian dumplings similar to large ravioli) or all the various types of sausages and cuts of meat you'll be seeing on menus.
