Far from the madding crowd, this groovy cafe has a palmlike canopy of halogen lights. It's great for brunch, lunch (€6 to €7), tapas and cocktails.

    Stylish and affordable restaurant in a central location

    triphamster recommends this,

    Gekco offers a wide variety of breakfast, vegetarian and meat dishes. Its decor mixes beach bar atmosphere with relaxed lounge and stands out a bit from the average German tavern. A real bargain are the weekday lunch prices. You can get any vegetarian dish for 5 EUR and any meat or fish dish for 6 EUR, including Argentinian steak! The restaurant is popular with locals and students and gladly bypasses the tourist caravan.
