Lonely Planet review for La Panse
Herring and whisky pâté, quail with foie gras in sweet madeira sauce, brill in sorrel sauce or a simple deer stew are among the traditional dishes cooked with a contemporary twist at this relaxed dining spot. Media types particularly like it.

Never go here. Look around - Anything will be better.
besidec does not recommend this,
We went there for lunch today and the food was absolute rubbish. I cook better myself and that is saying a lot.ÃÂ The menu du jour was 15 Euros - double a reasonable price - two of the items on it were tripe and black sausage, I tried the sausage - I could have got better from the supermarket. My other half had a beef stew, both heated in the microwave, and not properly!
For starters she had 'hors d'oeuves' which consisted of a small spoonful of couscous together with small piles of beetroot, cuecumber, tomato, lettuce and half an egg. I had a tomato tart also microwaved and some tasteless salad dressing. Sweet was no improvement with shop bought creme caramel and apple pie. The best thing was the coffee. All the time the street outside was the meeting place for all the local children playing music on their phones and yelling and shouting. The interior was bland, featureless with no atmosphere.ÃÂ I tried to make a complaint but the owner was deliberately obtuse so I gave up and we left. Not good for: atmosphere, food, service
