Lonely Planet review for Contresens
The menu reads like a mathematical formula but it soon becomes clear: starters are A, mains B, sides C and desserts D. The food is as experimental as the menu – sun-dried tomato, Beaufort cheese and rocket salad burger, mussel ravioli, 'deconstructed' Snickers – and totally divine. Kid nirvana.

Ahmazing! The service and the food were outstanding.

We got there around 10 probably and we were the last guests they let in so make sure you get there a little earlier. We started out with some glasses of regional wine which were delicious and then for the appetizers I had the trio which was great and for the main dish I had the onglet de veau with a soy and honey sauce. My husband got the pork with onion confit. Both were amazing, perfectly cooked and tender with great flavor. The side items from the C menu were just okay though. The wild mushrooms and dish of wheat grains were both a little bland and we could have done without. However I was still happy with the meal and left no room for dessert. My husband got the chocolate with rasberry served with a side of chocolate ice cream and it was amazing. The other desserts that were being ordered look delicious as well and all very large. I´d say the highlight of the restaurant were the items from the B & D categories.
