Hey everyone,

My name's Alfie, i'm 24 and a male. This is my first post here so bear with me!

I've been wanting to travel to the south of France or Spain for years now and I hate flying so I've finally converted a ford transit van into a camper van. It's pretty basic but it has UK electrical sockets and an electric hook up and lights. I've also bought a new tent that sleeps 6-8 people and attaches on to the side of the van, so if we get more people that's cool. However the van only has 5…

Hi,
I need help to choose between Beaune or St Emilion. I'm planning to spend around 5 days in Provence early this october, then I don't know if I go to Carcassonne, sleep one night there, and head to st emilion for 2 nights and 3 days, or if I leave Carcassonne for another time, and go to Beaune. So the doubt is:

1 - provence (5 days) + carcassonne (1 day) + st emilion (3 days), travelling by car from provence to carcassonne and to st emilion;
2 - provence (6 days) + beaune (3 days), travelling…

I'll be transitioning from the UK to France at the beginning of August, and hope to go from hub to hub throughout the matter of the day. I thought it would be nice to make use of such a full travel day from London to Paris by squeezing some in the middle and visiting the memorial dedicated to the lives of my countrymen. I plan on purchasing a 4 country Eurail pass which has to do with the rest of my trip, either 8 or 10 days within a span of 2 months. Firstly, I was wondering if it would make…

Bonjour. We are going to visit the Sunday morning Bastille/Richard Lenoir market for the first time and are looking for specific suggestions regarding ready to eat, take-away foods. For example, might anyone know where the lady who makes the best tajine is located? How about paella, or crepes or pasta? *We want to hear about your favourites at the market. Merci.

I am staying in avignon and I am looking for the best way to go to sault and gordes. Is it possible to cycle to sault? Another option is to take the public transport to sault and then cycle on the way back. But I am not sure if I can take a bike on buses in france. Any advice? If there is time i would like to visit roussillon and l'isle sur la sorgue. Are all these places hard to get to on bike? I have experience mountain biking.

Can someone please clear up some confusion I have. I want to purchase skip the line tickets to go up the Eiffel Tower. ( I am aware of the security line up you have to do). If I purchase tickets direct through the Eiffel Tower website does this mean we don't have to line up apart from the security check? I'm just confused because I was looking at the Viator website which all say skip the line but the prices on there are so high compared to just buying a ticket on the Eiffel Tower website? What…

Hello. Thanks for your info always.

How do you think the best way to Monaco from Nice with a child(two year daughter)?
We will arrive at 9am at Nice airport, and then want to visit Monaco as a day trip.
After that, we have to return to Nice to check in an apartment.
We have a baby buggy.

Thanks in advance.

I am just starting to plan our first holiday abroad with my husband and toddler who will be 15 months when we travel. Looking to go end of August for 2 weeks (unfortunately restricted on dates due to work).
I'm looking for ideas on locations in either France or Spain with sandy beaches suitable for young children (not too busy/ calm shallows good for paddling) I'm a bit nervous about travelling too far afield hence picking France/Spain where I can speak a little of the languages and not too far…

I'm planning to spend a week on the Cote d'Azur in June. I have a few logistical questions and am looking for advice about things to do.

First, we'll be traveling from Paris to France. I was planning on taking the train, but I was wondering if that's the best option. Does anyone recommend flying instead?

Secondly, I've been doing some research on Nice and the Cote d'Azur so I know a few things I want to do, but am looking for recommendations for great things to see, eat and do. We will not…
