Hi,
My partner and I are looking for a last-minute break in the next couple of weeks before he starts a new job. We've found reasonable flights to La Rochelle (we don't have a huge budget so our options are limited!) and are wondering if anyone knows of any campsites around there or on Ile de Re where you can hire a tent? We love camping and have all the gear here in UK but it's not practical to take it on the plane. We'd also consider motorhome or chalet or any other reasonably priced…

It's been quite hot in France and fires are a very unfortunate result of carelessness....

My sister, Elle, and I are going backpacking through Europe in August. We're spending five days in Paris and three in Marseille. Does anyone have suggestions for cool things we can do that aren't super tourist-y?

We like live music (house, electronic, rock, indie, etc), dancing, architecture, nature, historical sites, drinking, food, and books, among other things. We're also really interested in meeting people in the countries that we visit.

Also, if anyone is traveling in August and wants to…

I'm looking at accommodation options for Paris on AirBnB and am absolutely bamboozled by the amount of choice.
To help narrow things down (in terms of neighbourhood at least) which area would people recommend for someone who wants to go for a 6am jog to help burn off the calories. Somewhere with a nice park and running trails. Your suggestions? It needs to be good from a tourist perspective too of course.

Hello,

I've left booking the honeymoon to the last minute and I was looking at Calvi/Ajaccio and I'm not seeing a whole lot for around the 100 EURO mark?

Any recommendations for any websites I could try.

Not seeing much on booking.com for around that price. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
David

Hello,

I'm an American traveling to Amman on a work trip, and I'm going to take a sojourn at the end of the trip to stop in Marseille in late October to run the half-marathon there, after which I'll have a few days to spend in the area. For simplicity's sake, I figure I'll stay in Marseilles those few days rather than tour around (I don't plan on renting a car). Looks like I'll be likely booking a hotel in the old port area, which is not terribly far to the Velodrome where the race begins.

Any…

Hello! I recently found out the movie le Petit Prince will be released on July 29th. I will be in Paris and Nice in early August and was wondering if there is any cinema in Paris or Nice that would have this film with English subtitles? Any advice would be great! Thx!
