Has anyone used the Museum or Visite Pass in Paris?
They seem extremely over-priced in my opinion. Thoughts? Opinions?
Thanks in advance.

Would like to visit Eze , StPaul de Vence ... is it possible to see both on the same day ? If so , what public transport to use ? Many thanks .

Anybody know if I can get a room in cheap hotel in Paris for 30 euros a night? I'd be willing to go up to 40 euros.

We have 3 full days in Bordeaux and are considering using one of those days for a day trip to Saint Emilion; I'm debating between joining a small group tour or taking the train and exploring on our own. Enjoying the region's wines is a must but I don't know that we really need a vineyard tour with tasting as we are fairly knowledgeable and might get more bang for our buck by roaming around on our own. The train station is about a 20 minute walk from the city? We are fit seniors so that shouldn't…

Hi
I am planning to take my mum to Dordogne April 2017 for 3 weeks. We will commence journey from Paris. I would like to base ourselves somewhere nice and do day trips from there. We will be relying on public transport or local guides. We are looking for a relaxing trip that my mum can manage. She is pretty mobile. If anyone has any suggestions about where to stay and what to do that would be great. We like gardens, art, history and food.

Hello,

In June my wife and I will be travelling from Bayonne to Aix en Provence/Avignon area for 10 days aprox. We have seen the map and have the following route:

  • Bayonne
  • Lourdes
  • Toulouse
  • Carcassone
  • Agde
  • Sete
  • Montpellier
  • Nimes
  • Arles
  • Saint Marie de la Mer
  • Aix en provence
  • Les Alpilles -Baux de Provence
  • Avignon
  • Gordes - Les luberons
  • Mont Ventoux and small villages nearby.

What do you consider is missing or what can we avoid from this list for an authentic trip?

We will be travelling to Switzerland in late August (though we fly in and out of Milan). We have thirteen days excluding the travel days. I am very tempted to include a little bit of France in the trip. I have read about Annecy and will definitely try to stay 1 or 2 nights there. I was wondering if we could add more.

3 years ago we visited the Luberon in Provence and fell in the love with the villages, the nature, the markets, the food everything. My favourite village was probably Loumarin. I…
