Hey everyone. I will be staying over New Year's Eve with a friend in Montmartre. We wanted to find a restaurant to go to dinner to that night but I am kind of at a loss when figuring out where to go. I know that most restaurants will be doing some kind prix fixe menu and that's fine. Wanted to know if anyone had any suggestions of good restaurants that aren't too touristy to keep an eye out for.
I lived and worked in Paris for several years (though many, many moons ago!) but never visited Lyon. To rectify this serious omission, I am going to spend five days there in late October and would like to ask people who live in the city or know it well for recommendations as to where to eat, so as to sample some of the best that Lyon can offer, (but without spending a fortune on it as far as possible!).
I have lived abroad (i.e. not in my native UK) for much of my working life, so know that the…
Hello everyone! My fiance and I are heading to Paris this December and we were hoping to have a nice engagement photo taken. I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I've seen people quoted for around 250 Euros, which is a bit steep... so if anyone knows anyone who does good work but for a bit less, I'd appreciate it!
I bought a football match ticket,Lille vs PSG online and received the e-ticket through email. My question is, do i need to exchange the e-ticket to physical tickect at the stadium,or can i use the e-ticket to enter the stadium?. I don't speak or read French,so i have no idea what is written on the e-ticket.
The match is at Stade Pierre maurroy,Lille
Thank you in advance
We are planning a trip to the Gard/Provence area in late July next year, staying just a bit west of Nimes. We will have a car. Provence is so extensively written about that it is hard to separate the wheat from the chaff with information. So I thought I'd ask: which of the smaller towns are likely to be wildly oversaturdated with tourists in the summer? Which feel spoilt to you?
I have a question about the Paris Catacombs and tickets. Their site is in French and I am unable to Google Translate it to English.
With regards to purchasing tickets. If you buy for a specific day can you go anytime that day? Or do you have to purchase a specific day and time?
Thank you for your help!
Hi, We are planning a day trip of Champagne tasting in Chalons- en - Champagne next month ( October) and are trying to find a mini-bus and driver (to seat 12 ) to take us around for the day.
An English speaking driver would be good but we do have some French speakers in the group so not essential
Could anybody recommend a company or individual to do this ?
