Inaugurated during the 1937 Exposition Universelle and thus the world’s first interactive museum, this children’s science museum has excellent temporary exhibits (eg moving life-like dinosaurs) as well as a hands-on, interactive permanent collection focussing on astronomy, biology, physics and the like. The planetarium (admission €3.50) has four shows a day; there are also hourly science demonstrations (both in French).
