Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du Judaïsme
Housed in the sumptuous, 17th-century Hôtel de St-Aignan, this museum traces the evolution of Jewish communities from the Middle Ages to the present, with particular emphasis on the history of the Jews in France but also communities in other parts of Europe and North Africa. Exhibits include documents relating to the Dreyfus Affair (1894–1900) and works by Paris-based Jewish artists Chagall, Modigliani and Soutine. Temporary exhibitions cost an extra €7.50 and a combined ticket is €9.50.
