In an arrondissement known for superstar chefs who are often elsewhere, grandiose dining rooms and €5 coffees, this intimate neighbourhood favourite off the Champs Élysées is a real find. The Japanese chef is a haute-cuisine perfectionist – lunch might include an extravagant bacon–morel brioche; dinner a heavenly risotto with John Dory or truffles.
