So secretive it’s almost a speakeasy, Behind is just that – set in a lovely courtyard between (and behind) the North African 404 restaurant and Andy Walhoo bar and club. Chilled in a ‘shoes-off’ kind of way, this place is a lot more serious behind the scenes, serving both classic bistro and more inventive dishes. Vegetarians: more than half of the starts are meatless. Smokers: there’s a fumoir behind the closet door upstairs.
