This striking art nouveau establishment, here since 1894, has an elegant dining room where dishes are constructed around such delicacies as foie gras, truffles and caviar.

    great quality for the price - not cheap, but truly french

    oracle recommends this,

    not the cheapest, but the food is excellent. Happened across this place walking from the Grand Palais, to Pompidou and detouring to avoid Rue de Rivoli to avoid the crowds.

    Foie Gras Ravioli with a Truffle sauce was - sublime. (cost 19 euros). the little deli next door also seemed to busy with locals. Excellent quality bread as well - nicely chewy.

    All meats (cured/terrines etc) are home-made, and the deserts look good as well.

    To be recommended.
