Tiny but almost perfect, Le Mouton Noir is no mouton noir (black sheep). Fabulously unique, this dining address with a mere two-dozen covers west of Bastille is a neighbourhood secret which we’ve just gone and blown. The idea is to use unusual products in traditional French cooking – cuisine hippy groove the chef calls it. Try crab bisque with red curry and lentils, sea bass with La Vache qui Rit cheese or eggplant with thyme. Brunch (€19) is a fine weekend tradition.
