Le Cambodge information
Hidden in a quiet street between the gargantuan Hôpital St-Louis and Canal St-Martin, this long-standing favourite serves enormous spring rolls and the ever-popular pique-nique Angkorien (rice vermicelli and sautéed beef, which you wrap up in lettuce leaves). The food tastes homemade (if not especially authentic) and the vegetarian options are especially good.
If the wait to get a seat is long (often the case – there are no reservations), a hipper, more modern branch is located just down the street.
