Cooking in a friendly and relaxed environment
Christine19850 recommends this,
I took part in two classes with Chef Pino today (and have another booked tomorrow) and had a great time. I learnt new skills, tasted and worked with new ingredients, and now have a collection of dishes that I will recreate for friends and family at home. I bake at home, but am self taught, and learnt heaps today!
The school is easy to get to with the Metro from anywhere in Paris, and there is lots to cover in the classes. A good mix of hands on and instruction, and I have detailed recipes that I can remake at home.
The staff are very friendly and were only too happy to answer our questions (cooking and tourist related). I've done the touristy thing before - this trip I wanted to experience something different, and Cook'n With Class didn't disappoint!

Best experience in paris
viceroni recommends this,
Me and my friend did a dessert class with alex dreyer and had a great day. Alex was a talented chef who made us feel welcome and part of the team we made delicious desserts which the recipes were emailed to us so we can try them at home. We all had equal turns in helping to make theae desserts nobody was left out, the tasting of the desserts plus wine made it even better and we had a goodie bag to take home with us. Alex filled up the few hours with his witty personality and a bit of history and he is great to get along with. I would highly recommend you take a class withcook n class.

Divine way to spend an afternoon in Paris!
AusCanuckSarah recommends this,
My mum and I just came back from doing the French desserts class with Pino this afternoon. The class was meant to run 3 hours but ran for 3.75 in order for us to complete and enjoy 4 amazing desserts! We were all able to participate in each aspect of each dessert and Pino was very patient and kind when we messed it up :) We were able to taste and enjoy as we went along and the end result was amazing!! We each had a little bag of leftovers to take home and the recipes were already in my email inbox by the time we walked the 15 mins back to our appt. We are already signed up for 2 more classes with Cook'n With Class otherwise I'd insist we'd go back. It's always been a dream to do a cooking class in Paris....check! Highly recommended to all!!!

A Memorable First Time in Paris
orangetree80 recommends this,
I enrolled in several classes with Cook'n With Class and my experience has been wonderful. All of the chefs are helpful and entertaining. You don't have to be a professional chef to be in these classes; I know nothing about cooking and I found I was able to follow along. There is no complex lingo, and the Che's provide explanations as well as a bit of background history.
The classes are very interactive, so you get a better idea of how something should look, taste and feel. You can take notes if you prefer, but I find that doing something makes it easier for me to understand and remember. the best part of the classes: you get to taste and bring home what you've made!
Thank you so much for making my first visit to Paris a memorable experience!

wonderful experience

We did the market tour and cooking class with Alex Dreyer. The most memorable part of our trip to Paris. My family of 6 (ages 18 to 58) all like to cook, and we all enjoyed ourselves immensely.
The food was simply wonderful. I really did not expect the free flowing wine, champaign, expresso, snacks, and then the astonishing meal itself.
I know it sounds expensive, but if you are likely to go at least once to a 4 star restaurant for dinner, you can easily spend as much for food that isn't as good, for wine and champaign that isn't as free flowing, and be hustled in and out. We had a 5 hour thoroughly entertaining, and educational experience, and one of the best meals we ever had.Good for: Couples, Foodies, families with teens

“My favorite experience in Paris”
triciala recommends this,
Anyone who likes to eat will enjoy taking a class with Chef Alex. The day begins in a charming neighborhood environment away from the hub of tourism. Chef Alex is not only a talented chef he is also an engaging, compassionate teacher. The hints and techniques he provided were helpful to all levels of home cooks and the completed meal could rival some of the best restaurants in Paris. When I am asked what did I like most about my trip to Paris, I respond the cooking class! I highly recommend it as I am sure it will become a memorable experience for you too.
Good for: food, fun, experience

Great class!
valwash recommends this,
Pino is a great guy, a talented teacher and an amazing baker. He gave us some hands-on experience in making baguettes, fougasse (focaccia) and brioche, and it was all incredibly delicious. But better than that, he also gave us great baking tips with clear explanations of the function of the different ingredients and a little science on how it all comes together. He even threw together an incredible pizza as we were sampling the breads and packing up the rest to take home - - no sauce, just the leftover cheeses from our tasting, a little olive oil, and an amazing crust. I also liked the neighborhood a lot - did some walking in the area and enjoyed being away from the more touristy areas (though it is actually very close to Montmartre).
Good for: Anyone who likes good food.

Put Cook'n With Class on your "Must Do" list while visiting
mfost recommends this,
We did the baking class and adored it. There were about 5 people in our class, and our instructor, Pino, taught us how to make raisin rolls, croissants, pain au chocolate, foccacia, and danishes. While I'm no pastry chef, I do watch a lot of cooking shows and have some knowledge about the process. I learned so much new information with Pino, and more importantly, learned how to make the pastries in my own home. They were honestly the best I have ever tasted!!! CwC is in Paris, though it's away from some of the main areas. This is nice because it gets you to a new spot that you might not have otherwise explored. I highly recommend - this was our favorite thing we did in Paris!!
Good for: fun, lovers of food experiences
Not good for: a little pricey but worth it !
