Musée Portuaire

Lonely Planet review

The Musée Portuaire, housed in a one-time tobacco warehouse, will delight fans of maritime history and, especially, of model ships. Guided tours take visitors aboard a lighthouse ship, a peniche (barge) and the Duchesse Anne, a three-masted training ship built for the German merchant marine in 1901 and acquired by France as WWII reparations. Some signs are in English. Situated 500m northwest of the tourist office.
