With corridors painted with Matisse murals and guest room walls and ceilings also adorned with murals, the spiffy little Hôtel du Centre offers fab value for money.

The majority of the Hôtel du Centre's 26 brightly coloured rooms have their own squeaky-clean, floor-to-ceiling tiled bathrooms, but there are also four rooms with a washbasin only and shared shower and toilets, which are an absolute steal for one or two people. The cosy rooms are packed with amenities like soundproofing, telephone, multi-language satellite TV and fridge; and there's a lift to whisk you up and down. Free wi-fi's up and running in some rooms, and will be available in all imminently. And, the hotel's has its own Niçois- and Italian-influenced restaurant next door. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.

Description

Hotel du Centre is situated right in the heart of Nice, 5 minutes walk from the train station and 20 minutes from the airport.

It is just 15 minutes walk to the sea and the lovely Old Town.

A friendly private hotel, our rooms are complete with shower, toilet, TV, air conditioning, mini bar and safe and have been refurbished to a high standard. All the shops are on our doorstep, and there are also some lively markets nearby where you can browse for food, antiques and local products.

There are also many interesting places to visit within a short train or bus ride - Cannes and Monaco are about 30 minutes drive away and buses also go to St Paul de Vence, Eze, Grasse - or we can arrange a tour for you.
