Land

Bus

The bus station (04 66 29 52 00; rue Ste-Félicité) connects with the train station. International operators Eurolines (04 66 29 49 02) and Line Bus (04 66 29 50 62) both have kiosks there.

Regional destinations include Pont du Gard (€6.20, 30 minutes, five daily), Uzès (€6.20, 45 minutes, at least five daily) and Alès (€7.60, 1¼ hours, five daily).

Car & motorcycle

Europcar has kiosks at both the airport (04 66 70 49 22) and train station (04 66 29 07 94).

Train

There’s an SNCF sales office (11 rue de l’Aspic).

At least eight TGVs daily run to/from Paris’ Gare de Lyon (€72.70 to €88.80, three hours). There are frequent services to/from Alès (€7.90, 40 minutes), Arles (€6.90, 30 minutes), Avignon (€7.70, 30 minutes), Marseille (€17.20, 1¼ hours), Sète (€11.10, one hour) and Montpellier (€7.90, 30 minutes). Up to five SNCF buses or trains go to Aigues Mortes in the Camargue (€6.50, 1¼ hours).

Air

Nîmes’ airport (04 66 70 49 49), 10km southeast of the city on the A54 is served only by Ryanair, which flies to/from London (Stansted and Luton), Liverpool and Nottingham East Midlands in the UK.
