Everything about this hotel says south of France: the tall yellow building with its lavender blue shutters, the lush garden with its soaring palm trees, the interior's pretty fabrics and wrought iron fittings, and the warmth of the owners.
Choice picks are obviously the balcony rooms at the front of the house, although anyone who is scared of heights might want to consider asking for a room on the first couple of floors rather than at the top (there are six floors in total). Balconies have little tables where you can settle for a sundowner. Rooms are individually decorated in elegant Provençal style and sport all mod cons (wi-fi, air-con etc). The only criticism would be the odd choice of neon lighting in the rooms which kills any romantic atmosphere at night. Breakfast is served in the richly decorated dining room or in the lovely garden.
