Getting there & around
Autocars SAIB (04 95 22 41 99) has one or two buses daily, linking Porto (€11) and Ota (€11.50) with Ajaccio (two hours, none on Sunday). From May to October a bus braves the road between Porto and Calvi (€16, three hours). Buses depart from the pharmacy.
Transports Mordiconi (04 95 48 00 44) connects Porto with Corte (€20, 2½ hours, one daily) via Évisa and Ota. Buses leave from the restaurant ‘Le Mini-Golf’ near the eucalyptus forest and beach.
From May to late September, scooters (€46 per day), cars (€58 to €98) and mountain bikes (€15) can be hired from Porto Locations (/fax 04 95 26 10 13), across the street from the supermarkets.
