Getting there & away
Thirty SNCF trains a day (20 on Sunday) link Paris’ Gare Montparnasse (€12.40, 70 minutes) with Chartres, all of which pass through Versailles-Chantiers (€10.10, one hour). The last train to Paris leaves Chartres just after 9pm weekdays, just before 9pm on Saturday and sometime after 10pm on Sunday.
