Lonely Planet review for L’Apostrophe

This stylish café-brasserie in the centre of Reims dispenses French and international cuisine as well as some mean piscines (enormous cocktails for several people). A perennial favourite thanks to its chic atmosphere, summertime terrace and good value. Open as a café straight through from 9am to 1am.

    L'Apostrophe, more like L'Catastrophe

    jtangaere does not recommend this,

    In this barn-like cafeteria the overwhelmed staff took an eternity to take and then fill orders, they need to hire more, as they couldn't cope. My entrecote, a mass of stringy gristle, was execrable. At least they couldn't make a mess of the champagne.
    Prawns in a burger? Interesting idea, but shell them first! Who wants to pull their dinner apart by hand to make it edible. Complaints were met with a bemused disinterest.

    In one word: FAIL.
