From its idyllic outlook on 18th-century Théâtre des Celestins on place des Célestins to its own smart dark-red façade and lovely interior wood panelling, the well-established Hôtel des Artistes wraps guests in a timeless elegance.
The hotel's 45 rooms veer towards the predictable, but they're light and airy - a welcome contrast to the dark-red decor in public areas - and have the basic mod cons (flatscreen TV, air-con, etc) including some delightfully sweet-smelling Sutton & Foster comps. Should you have the urge to honeymoon here, you'll get fresh rose petals all over your bed.
