Dear American tourists, I'm making a report for French TV about the French welcome/service and for this reason I'm looking for some Americans who are going to come to France for their holidays very soon to interview them (their opinion about the French welcome/service in the restaurants, hotels, etc). If you want to participate to my TV report, please contact me : firstname.lastname@example.org
THANK YOU! Tetiana
Hi guys, All the bike tours of the Loire seem to go East to West (downhill). However the Lonely Planet 'Biking France' guide book has suggested rides that go upstream - West to East. And it talks about the prevailing wind being a Westerly. Does it make any difference which direction you bike in? Surely in mid June its warm and still. Right?..? Any thoughts..
I would like itinerary ideas for a stay in France for 2 adults and a 9mth old.
Arriving from Australia mid december and staying for a few days in Paris, after which
am thinking of sightseeing around France using a rail pass; then heading toward Rome.
Ideas on what to see/do in Paris for 4 or 5 days, and best places to stay/see/do for
4 or 5 days via rail outside Paris (with a baby, luggage, and modest budget) would be appreciated.
Arriving terminal 2g, looks like I take a shuttle bus to RER train or to a Roissy bus stop. But its not clear where the Roissy stop is - I've seen 2e and 2f (good signage directing to a more exact location?), I've seen you flag it down as it cruises through 2e/f, and I've seen its by door 5 in the passage between 2 e/f. So which is it?

My partner and I are planning to spend two months in France next year. We have already booked 30 days accommodation in Paris for the entire month of August, and have now found a lovely apartment in St Malo which is reasonably priced for 28 days for the whole month of September. It's also within the intramuros.
We are looking to travel slowly, to learn the language, to just enjoy being in a different place with a different culture. We are both very outdoorsy people and aren't bothered…
Good afternoon all,
Any advice I have previously received form this forum has proven very helpful, so I find myself returning to the well to request some further assistance.
My wife and I are travelling from Brisbane (Australia) to France, arriving on 27 December 2014 and departing on 16 January 2015 (from Paris).
It is the first time either of us have been to France, so we are quite excited. However beyond booking our flights (and for a number of reasons), we have been unable to commence…
Hello LP World.
Ill be in Paris for 4 nights and im looking at the Ibis chain hotels. Can anyone tell me of an experience they have had at one of these places? Im looking at these hotels due to their close proximity to the train stations. I have looked at tripadvisor most of them are ranked around 700+ which makes me wonder a little bit, but they are within my budget with free breakfast and wifi!
Thanks for your help in advance!
We are climbing Mt. Blanc in July 2015, (dates haven't been set in stone yet but it will be after 12 July since we arrive in country on the 12th). Thus far there are 3 of us in the group but we are looking for one more member (or 3 more - even number is good) to have a reduced price on the guided tour. All of us have done basic alpine climbing at least once before.
We fly into Paris and then travel to Chamonix from where the climb starts. Once the climb is done, we plan to…
we are a couple with a 1-month baby and are looking to spend a few days/up to 1 week (after Christmas - 02/01/15) somewhere in southern/eastern France, ideally in the mountain area (we'll be going by car) . We are based in Paris now and will spend Christmas there.
Could anyone recommend a place suitable for a family with a 2,5 month old baby (where we could do nice walks with a baby trolley, with good & easy access to restaurants, a hotel with bigger room)? I was thinking of…
