I know this question has been asked, but it has been a few years and hopefully something has changed.
What is the best way to get from CDG to Beauvais airport? Are there any coaches?
All I can find is www.shuttledirect.com which charges about 38eu a person... Does this service have a good reputation overall?
it's just a little bit close for comfort. Am I likely to have any difficulty making it? I won't have to change terminals or anything?
both flights are with Air France and the onward one is to Guangzhou, China.
My fiance and I just booked an 8 day trip to Paris which we leave for in a little less than 2 weeks. It was a spontaneous decision as he just accepted a new job and wanted to take advantage of some time off in between, so I'm scrambling to plan now!
We took a 3 week Europe trip earlier in the summer where we traveled around a lot and really splurged on everything, so we are aiming to make this a more relaxing and less expensive trip; however, I've spent a bit of time in Paris already and want…
I will be flying into Toulouse from Morocco on the 9th and am supposed to land just after 23:00. Any cheap buses running this late from the airport to the city centre. I know that a taxi is about 25Euro. I'd like to avoid if possible...
Thanks for any help.
The first taxi
So we arrived at Gare de Nord (Eurostar) fairly late of an evening, around 8pm. Was early July but just got around to writing this. 7 of us including 2 kids. There was a taxi queue. A few people came up to us and offered us a ride. I assume they were unlicensed and dodgy so I said no of course. The guy controlling the queue saw we had kids and let us go to the front. However I explained I wanted a large car. The next about 10 taxis to come were regular size, we are on the point…
I'm coming to Nice in a couple of days. I basically only have budget for food, I don't want to spend money on expensive hostels, and I've had no success with Couchsurfing so far... so my backup plan is to wildcamp!
Do you know any calm spots I could wildcamp? Anywhere between Cap Ferrat and Cagnes would work.
Thanks a lot!
I will be in Paris the last two weeks of September. I have already crisscrossed paris and my boyfriend and I really wish to get out of the city and explore the country more. I have ten days and have already done Versailles. I'd like to do something scenic, historic, romantic. And really have no interest in WW1/2 history. Any ideas and or suggestions appreciated. We will be going by car from Paris. Any amazing castles?
In early October we (2 70+ active but not hikers) are spending a month driving from Munich across northern Italy and then into France. We will start the France portion at Annecy and want to do a a loop out into what for us is a largely unknown area south of Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, east of Toulouse, north of Montpelier. (And yes, I realize that's a rather large area...) We will eventually hit Carcassonne and then wend our way back to Nice through Nimes and Arles. We've lived and driven in…
Hi, I have just joined lonelyplanet and this is my first post. I am hoping someone can help me. I am planning a trip to Paris from Thurs to Sun in Sept. I am a 41 year old woman and would be on my own. I have been single for a while and hoping to find 'romance' in the city of love. I would like to go to a place where I can meet interesting people/ somewhere where it is not awkward on your own and where you are likely to meet people from a diverse background and my age group. Not really into the…
