Getting there & away
In summer, the excursion bus (851 1052; www.pohjolanturistiauto.fi) makes the 50km trip from Kuusamo to Juuma, via Ruka, once daily (except Sunday). A taxi (868 1222) from Ruka to Juuma costs €30 for up to four people, from Kuusamo to Juuma €50.
