Lonely Planet review

There are excellent exhibitions in the summer at the Photographic Centre, devoted to Victor Barsokevitsch, who was a local portrait photographer regarded as one of the pioneers of Finnish photography. His studio is now a photo gallery, but there are enough old cameras and photos to call this a museum. In the garden you can enjoy a cup of coffee in summer and be astounded by the camera obscura.
