A great place to warm the cockles in winter. There's a branch at each kauppahalli.
Lonely Planet review
Near the kauppatori, this traditional market hall was built in 1889. Some of it's touristy these days (reindeer kebabs?) but it's still a glorious place full of picnic treats like filled rolls, cheeses, breads, smoked fish and an array of other Finnish snacks and delicacies. There are several places serving good, cheap light meals here too.
