    Finnish National Opera is World Class

    First rate production both musically and visually, this excellent opera company demonstrates both respect for the classical form and exploration for fresh, higher ground.

    The facility itself has enough plenty of fancy trimmings, but not excessive ornamentation. Crucial basics like seat size and breathing room between patrons accounted for the most comfortable seating in a full hall I have enjoyed
    at any opera. Sight lines were excellent from the multiple points I checked. The wonderful set for "Die Tote Stadt" was among the very best I have seen in multiple European locales. Accoustics, to my humble ears, were perfect.

    I am not qualified to review the finer artistic/vocal points, but for me, a relatively new opera enthusiast, this was a wonderful experience. Even the drinks and snacks were far above average. I have been to much more renown locations that did not impress nearly as much.
